We use the following formula for estimating weights:
W =3D ( C * f * (D to the power 4) )/U
where c is a contant between 2.6 and 3. Use 3 for modern bells and around 2=
.7 for older bells.
U is a constant of value 4359085
f is the frequency of the Nominal partial in Hz
D is the diameter of the bell in inches
W is the weight in pounds.
