By a fluke I was idling away five minutes between meetings this 
afternnon in an office at the Manchester Evening News, flicking 
through a coffee-table book called '125 years of Manchester' or some 
such, and saw a photo of 'The Flat Iron market in Salford' with part 
of the church tower visible.
