Of the three photographs (in the Skelton Collection) showing the bells and =
frame erected at Loughborough, that of the tenor shows very clearly a doubl=
e rope pulley. One assumes that the other bells were thus equipped, though =
pulleys are not visible through the mass of iron and steel. Incidentally, t=
he frame is single tier (H pattern) and designed to be built-in both top an=
d bottom.
