--- I didn't have the inclination to investigate these bells because
I think there has been much detail in the past. Getting grimy on
holiday is not top of my list. The information I have was read from
the 'guide paddle' which you take around the church with you. The
date, number of bells and possibly the founder were on there. There
was definitely no detail about who did the rehanging for chiming only
or any recasting/retuning.
