SEEND

DEDICATION OF THE CHURCH BELLS. On Thursday 17th inst., the dedication of the Church Bells took place, the five original bells having been repaired, re-hung and a sixth bell been added, the gift of Mrs Schomberg, the work being carried out by Mr Alfred Yorke of Bristol. There was early communion at 8.30 a.m. and at 11.30 a sermon by the Rev Mr Law of Dauntsey. The N. Wilts Guild of Ringers gave merry peals at intervals during the day. 

L&J cast two bells for Broughton Gifford in 1850, one of which may still be there.
