I have a note of the following bells in Somerset:

?BICKENHALL former 1/1 1847
?CHARLCOMBE 1/1 1845
CLOFORD 2/3 1854
?DINDER 6/6 1840
DUNDRY former 1/6 1840
EVERCREECH former 4/8 and former 6/8 1853
HENTON 1/1 n.d.
KENN 1/1 1815
KEWSTOKE 5/6 1840
NORTH CHERITON 3/5 1840
REDLYNCH 1/1 1820 (note early date, only 5 years after Kenn)
SOUTH PETHERTON former 7/8 1832
TYNTESFIELD call bell 1832
UPHILL Old Church 4/6 1840
VOBSTER 1/1 n.d. (church redundant; bell moved?)
WESTON SUPER MARE 3/8, 5/8, former 6/8, 8/8 1842
7/8 1834
?YATTON former 4/8 1852

James Gotley (CHEDDON FITZPAINE, CREECH ST MICHAEL) was I believe a
contractor not a founder. Someone may know more. It follows that bells
with his name on would have been cast by somebody else, probably J & P. But
there were also the Westcotts...

CHARLTON (by Donhead) Wilts. 1/1, 1839, is 30.5"

CHITTOE 1/1, n.d., now at Bromham, is 20.5".
