Erith bells are dated 1915, not 1917. They are not alone: there are lots of
other Warner rings which purport to be 'Simpson' tuned, such as Chelmsford,
Daresbury, Lower Peover, Childwall, Felsted, St Mellons, St Athan,
Pocklington and the former 8 at Mangotsfield.
