Whilst in Germany last year I saw the steel 4 at St Moritz Kirche,
Mittenwalde cast in 1956, though I didn't note the founder.
Below is the tonal analysis of them:
1. 1079, 827, 652, 573 & 277Hz, 34.5" dia.
2. 922, 713, 559, 481, 239Hz 41" dia
3. 840, 609, 509, 433 & 210Hz 47" dia
4. 683, 525, 414, 356 & 177Hz 56" dia
These bells have 'proper' (i.e. traditional continental) profiles and, as
can be seen, are pretty close to 'proper' harmonics.
Certainly most of the English steel bells I have seen have a wall thickness
which does not increase at the soundbow.
