Another destroyed one which has just sprung to mind - Clyst St George, Devon, apparently hit by an german bomber offloading its remaining bombs after a raid on Exeter. The bells had recently been rehung by Taylor's with new frame, fittings, etc, and most of these were reused on the present six cast by Whitehchapel after the war. David
