We have been requested not to divulge the intended location of the ring and until we are told otherwise will not be giving details.

I can say that the original intention was to take all eight bells from Writtle but a site survey showed that the bells needed to be lighter. As a result the front six of the Writtle ring have been tuned to be the back six of the octave and two bells have been cast by Whitechapel to complete the ring.

There is hope that the project can be completed this year.
