Your ears will tell you that th ehour bell is 1862 but I don't think I've
ever heard the quarters.

My Taylor Catalogue from about 1934 states that
Halifax Town Hall bells were recast in 1902, yet the
big bell list in the RW diary says they still date
from 1862.

Can someone confirm whether or not they were recast in
1902?
