re Anthony Bond

Thank you Chris for the identification of the 1615 Anthony Bond inscription 
as being that of the chapel at Lincoln’s Inn. The chapel was built by Inigo 
Jones in 1620-23. Was there an older one, or did they have asecond-hand 
bell? There is a letter in the WCL collection from ?J A Carrington 28 
Lincolns Inn Fields, London Nov 2 1855, which mentions that he is sending a 
tracing of the inscription of the Lincoln’s Inn Chapel bell, but as it was 
widely separated from the tracing. I did not connect the two.
