I did write a short piece on Baldersby - "More on Baldersby" - in Ringing W=
orld 8 January 1988, p.4, but really only picking up a reference I'd found =
in the Bell News to alterations in the 1890s. David Town has done a much mo=
re thorough study of the place and could doubtless add more

Can't refrain from endorsing all that DLC has said about "Dove". For me, th=
e 7th (1988/"white") edition remains the most reliable and useful as a refe=
rence book
