To quote Frederick Sharpe himself " A limited number of offprints 
were bound and with the addition of a title page issued as a single 
volume. The demand for these soon exhausted the supply, and the offer 
by Kingsmead Reprints to reproduce the original work was 
enthusiastically welcomed by the Berkshire Archaelogical Society, 
Campanologists and the author". It looks therefore that bound 
collected originals did exist. Only goes to show that Prefaces to 
books (which is where the above came from) are sometimes not just 
mere verbage, but occasionally worth reading.
