Late G&J bells

G R Hayward said on anopther list:
"Weren't some of the very late G&J jobs cast and tuned at Taylors 
under the G&J name?"
If so could the augmentation at watford be one of these?

Watford G&J old 8, 1919, augmentation G&J 1946.


They are indecently a disappointing augmentation, being tonally a bad 
match to the old 8.
So bad in fact that a recast was considered long before I came to 
Watford.
This is not likely to happen.
