Alnwick

  Talking to a freind at the Settle practice the other night, she said 
she had recently been to Alnwick, and asked the Priest in charge, if 
the bells were rung.

     He gave the impression that anyone who may wish to aquire the 
bells may do so (i.e removal). Just wondering how serious he was in 
his comment, and if he is serious, do the D+N, Keltek, etc, have any 
sort of link with the Parish?

      Bell (s) do occasionally get removed and sold without a faculty, 
hence my enquiry.
