I believe there is a peal board in the rc at St Sepulchre. It doesn't have
the names of the ringers on though.

Philip Earis has mentioned the "first peal" that was "rung" at Newgate
in 1690. He is not a happy bunny that it is unrecognised as such by the
CC. What documentary evidence is there that a peal was actually rung
at this time? Why would the performance not be repeated in the
intervening 25 years between this performance and the Norwich first
peal?
