"Is there any other intereting information concerning these bells?"
I have a copy somewhere of a report on the 1894 Taylor six at St Mark's,
Lyncombe, Bath, written when the church became redundant. In it, there
is the suggestion that they should be moved elsewhere as a complete ring
and Buckland Dinham was suggested as a possibility. Unfortunately the
Lyncombe bells didn't survive, being used as a source of scrap for the
four trebles at Midsomer Norton. Most of the frame castings and four
sets of fittings were used at Midsomer Norton.
