The project at St Mark's Cathedral in Shreveport as far as I know is going
ahead next year. There's an article about in in The Clapper dated August
2008. They have ordered a ring of eight with a 9cwt tenor plus a further
nine chiming bells from Whitechapel.

There is a link with Lancaster Priory as two of the instigators of the
project came to one of our practices, liked what they saw, and decided that
they ought to have some change ringing bells at their home tower.

  Hi Dickon,

  Which Orleans? New Orleans, Louisiana?

What happened to the planned ring at Shreveport, Louisiana?

  Best wishes and Merry Christmas,

  Alan
