A notable example was the provision of two trebles to make 12 at Canterbury Cathedral in 1923. These were inscribed and dedicated in memory of those members of the Kent County Association of Change Ringers who gave their lives in the Great War. These were two of the seven bells recast in 1981 and the war memorial inscriptions were carefully repeated on the recast bells.
