I thought that list members would like to know that the new book by Michael Foulds on the Gorbals foundry (David Burges, John C. Wilson, Steven & Struthers of Glasgow) is now available. It's an interesting read, and well worth the modest price of £6 (including p&p). Full title The Gorbals Brass and Bell Foundry: Bellfounding in Victorian and Edwardian Glasgow
