Dear All
I was wondering if you could help me to understand where the heavy peal of ten at Mirfield St Mary fit, historically, in the output of Taylors’ work. How many complete peals of ten had been cast by Taylors before 1870? Were there other significant peals cast before this date? Is there any sense in which the ten at Mirfield marked a significant step in the casting of bells at Loughborough?
Yours
