Sorry to be the bearer of bad news
 
 
I have  been authorised by the London office of the Churches Conservation 
Trust to  announce that all ringing activities at Holy Trinity Sunderland 
have been  stopped. Investigations will start at some time, funds permitting, 
into a number  of cracks in the tower fabric. There are reports noting the 
extent of work that  is required to bring the bells back into good ringing 
order.
