[Bell Historians] WW1 memorial bells.

I have sent David my list of War Memorial items relating to York Diocese
directly and like some agree that this is possibly too late to do much
about. It is also interesting the views taken as to what is a memorial and
when it was installed. Perhaps the best guidance is the War Memorials
website which (should) have a searchable record of War Memorials. If a
memorial is not on there perhaps it should be. If it is listed then when
restoration is considered one might consider an application to the War
Memorial Trust. (In this Diocese they were extremely generous towards
restoring the chime at Hornsea the other year.)
