[Bell Historians] Kingston St Mary - Inscription band attached by rivets

The treble at North Cheriton has the same. I believe the 'rivets' are threaded into blind holes, and then riveted over to hold the plate on. I seem to remember St Philip & St James in Ilfracombe having a similar thing, as one of the inscriptions eventually fell off!
The 3rd at Berkley has something similar too. This has a blank socket where the last figure of the date should be.  Berkley appear to have been augmented by bells which were previously held in stock, so I suppose they left a socket, so that the date could be added as and when they sold the bell..
