Fred gives the following:

Cwmbach Llechryd St John

A central turret containing a chime of five bells* installed soon after
the erection of the church in 18777...

...It is impossible to get access to the bells without using scaling
ladders, or scaffolding, and even if these were procured it is doubtful
if inscriptions could be read, as the upper portions of the bells are
concealed by the structure of the turret. Visited August 1945 FS

* In my handwriting "tenor 4-cwt", presumablyu from an old edition of
Dove.

DLC.

Subject: [Bell Historians] Cwmbach Llechryd

I have been asked if there are any details of the 5-bell chime at
Cwmbach Llechryd. I don't have access to Sharpe's Church Bells of
Radnorshire. Can anyone help in this?

  Thank you

  Mike
