I would start by working out how many changes are needed. This will depend
on the speed of ringing, but if we assume 3 seconds per row and a change
called every 4th hand stroke we end up with 3 x 8 = 24 secs per change. Your
are ringing for 100 minutes so need 100 x 60 / 24 = 250 changes. Allowing
for some rounds at the beginning and end, you will probably need a few less
than this.

I would suggest extending the 60 on 3rds given on page 24 of the RW Diary.
Don't bother starting from queens as on 8 the music is better going from
rounds. This gives 210 changes. The calling is:

* Call treble to back
* Move 2nd back one place
* Call treble to front
* Move 2nd back one place
Keep doing this until the 2nd is in 6ths place below the treble
* Call treble to front
* Move 3rd back one place
* Call treble to back
* Move 3rd back one place
Keep doing this until the 3rd is in 7ths place and treble is leading

Repeat whole thing twice, but first moving 4th then 5th out to back, and
then moving 6th then 7th out to back.

I have been assigned the enviable task of calling call-changes on 8 for an
hour and 40 minutes on Sunday.
Is there an easy systematic way to generate a musical touch which is "true",
i.e. never returning to a row previously rung, with only one pair of bells
being swapped at a time? Some adaptation of the old Plain Changes, perhaps?
