So what you are basically saying is that 19% of the leads of the peal don't actually contain any music!

Don is of course correct that not every lead realises the potential to contain a run (because of the 8123, 7812, 6781 and reverses). However assuming my count up is correct only 32 of the 168 leads don't contain one of the 480 runs and on only 4 occasions in the peal do you get two consecutive leads without one of the 480.
