Hi All
PJE: "However, there does seem to be the risk of people making dodgy
conclusions or over-interpreting the evidence." - good point. The Swaffham
conductor was Martin R. Kitson. Perhaps someone could ask him? He doesn't
seem to be on RB's e-mail list.
In Snowdon's "Ropesight" (1975 reprint), eight comps. of PB7 are given
(pp90/1). Shipway, Annable, Holt and T. Morris are represented with one
each - conventionally with a single at the half-peal. Hubbard has four - two
with a pair of singles (as described by PJE) and two without - although
these are 'reversal-pairs'
Remark: The lead heads of PB7 are alternately -ve and +ve and a bob does not
change this. Any 'In' or 'Out' will extend the course by one lead so the
next course head will be -ve. The 1260 (IH,F,F) in the diary shows this
point very well.
Best wishes
Robin
